ROUND PARACHUTEThis parachute type is more than 80 years old and the most conventional way to jump. From aprox 2500 ft. you will exit the plane and a line (static line) will deploy your main canopy. To participate in this class you need no former parachute experience. The class contains 5 staticline jumps and will take aprox. 4 days to complete. Normally we film your first jump and you also have the opportunity to have your picture taken.
SQUARE PARACHUTEThis class gives you the possibility to learn to fly the steerable square parachute. Like the round parachute the main canopy is deployed by a line (static line) attached to the plane. The square parachute actually flies forward like a plane, not like the round parachute that goes almost straight down. You exit the plane from aprox. 3900 ft. which will give you plenty of time to enjoy the view.
TOTAL JUMP EXPIRIENCEThis class is a combination of the normal Square class and a international freefall education called Accelerated Free Fall or AFF in short. You will jump with two instructors from 13000 feet, it gives you aprox. 60 sec. of free fall time. After this you will truly call yourself airborne. Maybe you will newer jump again get the pictures and video of yourself rushing to the ground in your DBU with more than 125 mph.
TRAVEL INSURANCESince 2003 we only have had a few injuries that could be treated in a Dutch hospital. If the accident strikes and you break a leg and therefore need transport home we recommend that you investigate if you have insurance via your unit, credit card etc.
YOUR OWN CLASS If you are more than 10 people that want to jump the same type of parachute (Round or square) and does our classes don’t fit into your calendar, we will make a class that does!! The only requirement is, that you are a minimum of 10 jumper’s pr. type of parachute, square and TJE are both square parachutes, so you could make a class that looks like this: 4 squares, 6 TJE and 10 round parachute students or “just” 6 square and 4 TJE.
UNIFORMAs long as you don’t visit a Dutch military facility you can wear your uniform in The Netherlands without any problems. You are welcome to jump in your uniform, and you can wear your issued helmet. We recommend that wear a solid supporting boot, which covers your ankle. There have been a couple of sprint ankles that could be avoided if the student has worn more solid footwear as a desert or jungle boot.
